Louise M. Lammey, formerly of Coatesville, PA, Cinnaminson, NJ and Downingtown, PA, 95 years, (nee Vietri), passed away peacefully on April 5, 2017 at CareOne, Moorestown, NJ.

Beloved wife of the late Robert; Devoted mother of Bill (Rita) Lammey, Carole McKiernan, Michael (Pat) Lammey and Louise (Joey) Rega. Louise was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed it when everyone was gathered around the table. Holidays were a favorite time for her to showcase her Italian culture and traditions. A devout Catholic and long time resident of Villa St. Martha in Downingtown, PA, Louise participated in many church related activities. She and Robert traveled extensively throughout the United States and she made two trips to Italy with her children to visit family. In addition to her volunteer service at local hospitals, Louise and her husband devoted many years to the American EX-POW organization, taking veterans to their doctor's appointments and organizing state conventions, all in an effort to make them more aware of their VA benefits.

Louise enjoyed many a morning with Robert reading the daily newspaper and working on crossword puzzles. She loved feeding and watching her hummingbirds and playing with her beloved beagles. An avid rug hooker, Louise designed numerous rugs for family and friends for which she won a number of awards for their craftmanship.

A celebration of Louise's life will be held at a later date pending inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements to be determined by Arlington National Cemetery. Please check back for dates and times.
