Obituary of Victoria Torres-Santos

Victoria Torres-Santos, age 89 years, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Connecticut and Puerto Rico, passed away on June 6, 2017 at Avista Care Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Romero Garcia. Devoted mother of Noelia Rosado, Sarahid Garcia (Antonio Negron), Marta Pabon (David), Alexis Garcia, Roberto Garcia and the late Jose A. and Rafael Garcia. Loving grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 15. Victoria was the oldest of 8 children and was the last one surviving. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Victoria had many jobs over the years and was a hard worker. She worked as a cook at a rectory for priests and was also a caretaker for many years. Victoria enjoyed writing and singing Christian songs and also liked to get dressed up and do her hair and nails. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Friday from 6-7 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM and Saturday from 9-10 AM, where final prayers will be held at 10 AM at the Lion of Judah Church, 9 Odlen Ave in Somerdale. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill.
