Harry DiNardo

Obituary of Harry T. DiNardo

Harry T. DiNardo, of Pennsauken, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 20, 2017. Beloved husband of Marie A. (nee Olori) for 48 years. Devoted father of Dana Bealin and her husband Dan. Loving son of the late Camille and Florecia DiNardo and son in law of the late Alex and Lydia Olori. Dear brother of the late Dominic DiNardo and Connie Tomaselli. Also survived by nephew Daniel DiNardo. Prior to retirement in 1992, Harry was employed at Stanley Blacker and Daroff's both in Philadelphia for over 40 years. After retirement, Harry loved volunteering his time at JFK Surgical Center in Cherry Hill and he also helped run bingo for 35 years at St. Cecilia's Church in Pennsauken. After volunteering his time, Harry worked at Costas stocking shelves in Pennsauken. He enjoyed bowling, dancing and listening to Frank Sinatra and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Back in the day, he was a member of Club Dhalia in South Philly and was affectionately called "Fat Harry" and will be fondly remembered as the best dancer in South Philly and South Jersey. Harry had a zest for life, he loved living it to the fullest every day. He was a pure soul who knew and touched so many over the years and everyone who met him loved him. Harry was not a rich man, but he was most certainly rich with contentment and his life. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday from 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd, where a Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11 AM. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to their team from Samaritan Hospice, Theresa R., Laura and Charlie for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Harry's name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
