Obituary of Peter M. Caruso
Peter M. Caruso "Pete", age 68 years of Pennsauken, formerly of Collingswood, passed away suddenly on October 13, 2023.
Beloved husband of Jane (nee Burns). Devoted father of Melanie Caruso, Erika Johnson (Triston), Melissa Anne Caruso-Early (Rodney), Elizabeth Marenco (Eddy) and Peter J. Caruso. Loving grandfather of Marissa, Donovan, Nicholas, Gianna, Ava, Emma and Eli and great grandfather of Illiana and William V. Dear brother of Phil Caruso, Debora Carberry, Donna Thistlewood and the late Paul Caruso. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Prior to retirement in 2022, Pete was owner of Caruso & Son for over 50 years, first with his dad and then with his brother Phil. He loved woodworking, riding his motorcycle, surfing, cooking, and grilling. Pete also enjoyed family vacations, trips to the beach, Costa Rica and Mexico. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 6-8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
