Obituary of Gladys Beatriz Arroyo

Gladys Beatriz Arroyo (nee Velazquez), age 51 of Trenton, New Jersey, passed away suddenly at her home on November 14, 2023.  She was born on May 16, 1972 in Patillas, Puerto Rico to Hector Velazquez and Elizabeth Caraballo.

Devoted mother of Annlizmarie Jean (Salnave), Amanda Arroyo, Adrian Arroyo and the late Amarilys Gonzalez; Loving grandmother of Aiden, Matthias, Sophia, Isabella, Jedidiah and Aaliyah; Beloved companion of Raul Arana and cherished stepmother of Josephine and Raul Arana Jr.; Dear sister of Hector, Abigail, Elizabeth, Iris and Michelle Velazquez.

Gladys was an extremely artsy person who loved to paint.  She enjoyed gardening and could always be found outside in her garden pulling weeds.  She loved to go shopping and was always buying and giving gifts to her grandkids.  She would give to anyone in need and was always cooking for everyone.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, November 25 from 9 to 11 AM at the Pennsauken Gospel Hall, 6530 Caroline Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Committal services will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
