Obituary of Georgette O. Rocco
Georgette O. Rocco (nee Daujeumont) age 97 years of Cherry Hill, formerly of Pennsauken and Haddon Twp, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on November 22, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Fred G. Devoted mother of Fr. Daniel Rocco, Linda Rocco and the late Carla Rocco. Loving grandmother of Vanessa and Michael. Dear sister of the late Roger Daujeumont and Lulu Martens (the late George). Loving aunt of Philippe and Linda, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Also survived by her faithful four legged companion, Peanut.
Georgette was a devout practicing catholic. She was the true definition of an Army wife, moving over 30 times and always holding down the household and family while her husband was deployed multiple times. Georgette loved shopping and had a vast collection of hats, jewelry and clothing. She will be remembered as a loving, faithful and devoted wife and mother.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 9:45-10:45 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Final disposition will take place privately at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA with her late husband Fred.
