Obituary of Margaret M. Abbatelli

Margaret "Peggy" Abbatelli (nee Bush), age 79 years of Pennsauken, passed away on March 18, 2024.
 

Devoted mother of John “Sonny” (Karen Lent), Joseph (Lisajo), Lisa Caruso (Joe) and Christopher (Rachael).  Loving grandmother of Melissa Wentzel (Matthew), Angela Pietryka (Adam), Kimberly Mason (Patrick), Ashley Sweeney (Kyle), Emily Nerosa (Alex Arroyo), Anthony (Julianna), Jazzlyn, Joanna, Christopher, Dominic, Vincent, Lucas Hildenbrand and the late John and great grandmother of Alexis, Brooks, Carter, Mackenzie, Madison, Walker, Alden and Jaxs.  Dear sister of Linda Zambetti, Donna Hennessey, Robert “Bob” Bush (Michelle) and the late Patricia Ford, Jack Bush (Carolyn), Kathleen Patrick, Gerry Silcox, Albert Bush, and Chuck Bush (Dot). Also survived by daughter in law, Caroline Abbatelli as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

 
Peggy was a member of Local 1360 (now 360) United Food and Commercial Workers Union.  She loved trips to the casinos, playing the lottery, and arts and crafts such as drawing, painting, ceramics and making wreaths.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CHOP Foundation, PO Box 781352 Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.
