Obituary of David Townsend

David W. Townsend, passed away on January 31, 2016 of Sicklerville, formerly of Camden. Age 65 years. Beloved husband of Ada E. Hughes for 31 years. Devoted father of James (Shannon). Loving grandfather of James Jr. and Jacob. Dear brother of Paul Townsend (Chris) and Carol Cook. Cherished son of the late Joseph and Louise. Also survived by nephew Timothy Cook (Annemarie) and their son Collin as well as many other nieces and nephews. David was employed at Johnson & Matthey in W. Deptford for 21 years and prior to that was employed at Kramer Chemicals in Camden for many years. He was a United States Army Veteran of Vietnam and the Union Treasurer for Johnson & Matthey. David was also an avid Eagles fan. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd, where a Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon. Interment will take place privately.
