Obituary of Helen Gormley

Helen Rose Gormley (Nee Schrader), 94 of Pennsauken, passed away at her home on Friday, February 26th surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband, William Alexander Gormley Jr. She is survived by her younger brother, David Schrader of Clementon, NJ, daughters, Valarie DeFelice (Tom) of Sea Girt, NJ, Marlana McNamee of Pennsauken and Vanessa Morgan of Durango, Colorado, as well as 3 grandchildren, Thomas & Emily DeFilice and Gabriel LaMons and her great granddaughter, Victoria LaMons. Helen was very active in her church community and was the oldest member of Martin Luther Chapel's Dorcas Guild of Martin Luther Chapel and began making quilts over one half century ago. Her quilts were sent all over the world through Lutheran World Relief. Helen's quilts were sold at fundraisers for the support of missions of Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home located at 6600 N. Browning Rd. on Wednesday from 1:30-3 where a memorial service will be celebrated at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Helen's memory be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Dr # 300, Marlton, NJ 08053
