Obituary of Robert Garber

Robert "Bob" C. Garber, Jr. June 22, 1942-September 3, 2015. Bob passed away peacefully at Transitions Life Care Center in Raleigh NC after a long battle with cancer. He was the son of Robert C Garber Sr and Elizabeth J. Leahan Garber. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and grew up in Pennsauken, NJ. He was a resident of Collingswood, NJ for twenty years prior to moving to Cary, NC. He was preceded in death by his brother James Garber and his son Jason R. Garber. Bob is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth A. (Green) Garber and stepson Kevin F. Kuehnert. Also survived by three sons, Theodore (Christine) Garber, Jeffrey (Susan) Garber and Timothy Garber, and four grandchildren, three sisters Jeanette (James) Burns, Eileen (Philip) Cresthull, and Denise (Michael) Chico, and many loving nieces and nephews. Bob worked many years in the banking industry and after retiring he enjoyed spending summers at Lake Garrison In Elk Township NJ, where he served as controller on the board of directors for a number of years. Relatives & Friends are invited to the Memorial Visitation on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road in Pennsauken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken. Burial of cremains Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA.
