Obituary of Robert Massimiano

Robert J. Massimiano, age 85, and a lifelong Delair resident, passed away on March 15, 2016 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Norris). Devoted father of Philip Park, Linda Lennox, Hazel Hawkins (John), Nancy Coombe (Dan), Patti Mastro (Ron) and Robin Fair (Joe). Loving grandfather of Dawn, Christine, Philip Jr., Jonathon, Ricky, Kimberly, Danielle, Stephen, Robert, Allison and Amanda and great grandfather of 16 and great, great grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Joseph, Remo and Riccardo Massimiano, Gilda Tanner and the late Guido, Rose Voight and Ada Pacilio. Also survived by family friend Dianne Picarri and many loving nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement in 1993, Mr. Massimiano was employed with the Pennsylvania Railroad for many years. He was a United States Coast Guard Veteran of the Korean War. Robert was also a lifetime member of the Amvets Post 101 in Delair, a member of the VFW Post 8185 in Pennsauken and a member of the Columbus Club in Delair. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
