Obituary of Joseph Saia

Joseph Saia, age 86 years, of Camden, passed away on May 23, 2016 at his son's residence in Barrington. Beloved husband of the late Antoinette (nee Schiraldi). Devoted father of Anthony (Patricia), Teresa Crawford (Darrin), Joseph (Lisa) and the late Mark. Loving grandfather of Olivia. Also survived by daughter in law, Toni and many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Saia was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroism. He enjoyed spending time with family, sports and listening to Frank Sinatra on Sundays. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 9:15-10:15 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 300 E Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 301 Danny Thomas Blvd, Memphis, TN 38105.
