Matt gave me fourteen years of an amazing friendship. I'm going to miss our heart to heart conversations at midnight, our random food dates, and our jam sessions in his car. Matt gave me smiles, laughs, tears, good times, bad times, and everything in between. He never left my side. More importantly, he showed me how to love. He taught me that it's okay to be weird and different. You told me to forget the haters and just be myself because everyone else was already taken. You were my number one supporter. You still are...only this time you're my guardian angel. The day after I graduate, I'll be visiting you. I'm going to tell you "I made it." You will be so proud of me. You always made sure I was alright . At the service yesterday they said," the next time you see Matt will be forever." For now, it's only a "see you later." Saying goodbye means forever and I'll see you again one day. I love you Matt.

Matt, You will always be Corinne's husband, best friend and now guardian angel. You rode your bike into our family's life and found your second home. The Rukas family lost one of our own.
