Obituary of Rose Catalini

Passed away peacefully on July 6, 2016 (nee Bordi); Devoted mother of Robert (Tammy) and his wife the late Kathleen Catalini; Loving grandmother of Michael (Jacquelyn) and Jenna; Cherished great grandmother of Jack; Dear sister of Roland Bordi; Also survived by her niece Linda (Jim) Ressa; great nieces Gina & Christa; great nephew Roland III (Tricia) Bordi and grand niece Gianna; cousins Louise and Helen ;and godchild Elaine, along with many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by nephews Roland Jr. and Douglas. Rose worked in human resources for Travelers Insurance Company until retirement in 1991. A stylish dresser who loved shopping, especially with her nieces and granddaughter, Rose was generous and kind. She was also an avid reader and lifelong learner, who mastered a smartphone well into her 80s. She tended a large garden for many years and also regularly cooked meals for her family, passing on recipes and her love of traditions. Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 Browning Road in Pennsauken. A service will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Entombment Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.
