Obituary of Alma A. Martin

Passed peacefully with her family by her side on July 16, 2016. Alma was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Sr. and her beloved son Joseph Jr. Survived by her children, Patricia, Thomas, Michael (Mary), Barbara (Richard) DeFabrizio, Francis (Stephen) Pellow, and Mary (Kevin) Mattson. Loving grandmother to Matthew (Jennifer), Michael Jr., (Brianne), Thomas (Erica), Kelly (Jesse) Hammill, Stephen Jr., Ashley , Brittney (Kevin), Brian (Nataliia),Jacqueline and Joseph III. Cherished great grandmother to Kathleen "Katie", Patrick, Jason, Thomas Jude, Matthew, Lilly, Olivia & Jackson. Alma proudly served in the military as a WAVE during WWII. She was stationed in Arlington,VA and Washington, DC. Alma worked in the Camden County School System. She was an incredible baker, enjoyed going to bingo and playing dominos with her family & friends. Lastly she loved spending quality time with her grandchildren. Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday from 9 AM to 10 AM at Falco/Caruso & Leonard 6600 N. Browning Road in Pennsauken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the St .Stephen Church 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation 11 Independence Way, Newark, DE 19713.
