Obituary of Jesus Rodriguez

Jesus M. Rodriguez, age 47 of Pennsauken, New Jersey was peacefully taken by Our Lord to eternal life on July 25, 2016. Jesus will be dearly missed by his beloved mother, Doña Elena. He was the beloved son of the late Angel O. Rodriguez. Jesus loved family and family activities: attending church services, shopping, treats like "small fries", bowling and counting his cards. He was a Boy Scout (1981-1984) and a member of the Holy Name Society (Our Lady of Fatima). He loved to sing "Jingle Bells" and believed Christmas was every day. He is survived by his loving siblings Luisa Cumbo (Louis), Santos Sr. (Judy), Petra (Ely) and Daniel. He will be greatly missed by his nephews and nieces: Elena, the late Anthony Cumbo, Santos Jr., Steven, Shawn (Sheri), Elizabeth and Sara as well as his grandnephews and niece Alex, Jacob, Nicholas, Daniel and Carlie. Other extended family who will miss his humor and warmth are: Gayle, Janette, Jennifer, Marisol, Erin as well as his godparents: Sister Gloria E. Perez, Luciano and Ediberta Villafañe. Jesus will be dearly missed by his family and friends but most especially by his church community, relatives in Puerto Rico and by those in the medical field who gave him loving care and comfort. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm and Friday from 8:30 to 9:15 am at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
