Obituary of Lena J Chilbert

(nee Kalnas) passed away peacefully on September 20, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Alphonse A., Loving mother of Kathleen (Lars) Sternas, Mary, Joseph, Theresa & Thomas; Cherished grandmother of Catherine, David, Jinnie, Anthony & Christina; Great grandmother to Hannah; Dear sister of Joseph & Peter Kalnas; Also survived by many nieces, nephews & friends. Lena was a perfect mother and loving person who was always helping others in need. Lena and her family are very grateful to Mary Lynn Hopkins, Ruth & Hank Hill, and their family members for all the love & care for many years so Lena could stay in her home and have a quality of life. The family is grateful for Dr. Joseph & Dr. Peter Curreri for taking care of Lena for many years. The family is also thankful for the excellent nursing care and "Cadillac" medical care she received during her illness at Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill as well as Dr. Charles Field and his team at Virtua of Marlton. A special thanks to the nurses, physicians & staff at DaVita Dialysis in Cherry Hill for their superior and loving care. Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Thursday from 8 to 9:30 AM at the Falco CARUSO & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 Browning RD in Pennsauken.
