Obituary of William Roman

William Roman, age 69 years, of Camden, passed away on October 31, 2016. Beloved husband of Mabel (nee Marrero); Devoted father of Marilyn Mendez (Renay Velasquez), Maribel Mendez (Luis De La Cruz), and Dion Roman; Loving grandfather of Marissa, Alexander and Xavier; Dear brother of Ray and Norma Roman; Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Roman was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 10 to 11 AM at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 2818 River Avenue in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. The family requests no flowers be sent, but donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
