It's difficult to put into words the positive influence that Mary "Mom" had on my life. I met her at 16 years old and married into the "Spadea" family at 19 years old. She was always like a mom to me for 55 years of my life. I looked to her for guidance over the years and she was a role model for me. She helped me to learn to be a better mom, a better cook, and a more caring and thoughtful person. When I was conflicted, she helped me to figure things out and make the right choices.. She laughed with me and cried with me and of course, she helped me grow up. She was simply "always there for me". She was the best example of what a mother-in-law should be . I will miss her but feel blessed that she was a part of my life for so long. I loved her and will cherish my memories of times spent with her.
