Obituary of Rolf A Meisels

Rolf A. Meisels, age 88 of Willingboro passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro. Rolf was the beloved husband of the late Elli; devoted father of Susan Garey (George), Sandra Challender (Tom), and Sylvia Matzen; loving Opa of Shawn Meisels (Deanna), Stanley McGraw IV (Julie), Brian McGraw (RoseMarie), Eric Matzen, and George Garey; and great-grandfather of Matthew, Eric, Carmen, Veronica, Stanley V, Wesley, Madeline, Fallon, Aurora, and Persephone. He also leaves dear friends, Ray and Joan Benzle, Barbara Furstoss, and Steve Carfore. Rolf was a retired master sergeant of the U.S. Army, serving from 1946 until 1967. Upon retirement from the Army, Rolf worked many years in the insurance industry, retiring from MetLife. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation and funeral from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Falco/ Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Rolf's name to the Ronald McDonald House, 550 Mickle Blvd., Camden, NJ 08103.
