Obituary of John J Vitarelli

John J. Vitarelli Sr., of Pennsauken, formerly of South Camden, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at 99 years. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Pelle) for 76 years; Devoted father of John M. (Rosemary) Vitarelli and Carole Colangelo; Loving grandfather of John (Diana), Christina, Lesley, Andrea (Ciro) and Nicholas (Jillian); Cherished great grandfather of Lorraine, Alessandro, Gia and Donte; Dear brother of Loretta Palese and Dolores LaMarra; Also survived by loving nieces & nephews. Prior to retirement John worked for 47 years with Campbell's Soup Company. He treasured spending time at the shore, he enjoyed sports and truly loved music. Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Homes, 6600 N. Browning RD in Pennsauken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Ave in Merchantville. Entombment Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
