Obituary of Joseph R. Crowthers

Joseph R. Crowthers, age 63 years, of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly on February 13, 2017. Beloved husband of Tracey Ann (nee Hartner). Devoted father of Joseph, Eric and TJ Crowthers. Dear son in law of Jim and Christine Rivel. Prior to retirement, Joe was a Pennsauken Police Officer for 18 years. He worked on the ice at the Spectrum with the Philadelphia Flyers and most recently was the General Manager at the University of Pennsylvania Class of 1923 Arena. Joe was a lifetime member of the Highland Fire Company of the Pennsauken Fire Department. He loved to play ice hockey, enjoyed music and was always available to help those in need. Joe built his home, countless pieces of furniture, go carts and many other things. He had a plethora of talents and abilities that he shared with everyone. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Sunday from 4-6 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N.
