Obituary of Lucille Thompson

Lucille Thompson, age 83 years, of Camden, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Devoted mother of Aaron Thompson (Marilyn), Brion Thompson (Denice), Shelley Thompson, Lillian Richardson (David), Marsha Morton (Everett) and Eugene Thompson (Patricia). Loving grandmother of 17, great grandmother of 13 and great, great grandmother of 1. Dear sister of Lillian Warren and the late Mabel, Catherine and Thomas. Beloved companion of the late Joseph Giles. Also survived by dear friend, Jean Smith and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Prior to retirement, Lucille was employed as a teacher's aide for the Camden Board of Education for 20 years. She loved travelling, reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing solitaire and most of all spending time with her family. Lucille also spent 2-3 days a week at the Carol Norcross Senior Center in Blackwood, where she would participate in many activities, such as shopping, crafts or hanging out with her friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 9 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
