Obituary of Steve Chavarria

Steve A. Chavarria, age 41 of Camden, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on September 20, 2017 at JFK Hospital in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Beloved son of Maria Socorro Cabrera, Devoted father of Mikayla Chavarria and stepfather of Alexis Gonzalez; Dear brother of Danilo and Guadalupe Chavarria and Sylvia and Natasha Varano; Loving uncle of Emma and Haley Nunez; Also survived by many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Steve was a fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, and enjoyed Star Wars and all types of music. He will be remembered by his family for being extremely smart. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Pro Cathedral, 2907 Federal Street in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. Arrangements under the direction of Falco/Caruso & Leonard Funeral Homes.
