Obituary of Joseph Anselmo

Joseph C. Anselmo, of Merchantville passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 28, 2017 at 72 years. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Mitchell); Devoted father of Christopher (Rebecca) Anselmo; Dear brother of Robert Anselmo (Jonathan Stevens); Predeceased by his cherished parents Joseph & Carmella Anselmo; and also survived by a host of friends & family.

Joseph was a proud Army Reserves Veteran who served six years. He was a kind man who just loved people, he was easy to talk to. He appreciated cars in general, he loved all types of animals, especially feeding the neighborhood birds. He enjoyed a good meal and was considered a real "foodie," he will be greatly missed by those who were lucky enough to know him. Prior to retirement he worked as a Surveillance Manager with the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City.

Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 Browning Road in Pennsauken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Avenue in Merchantville. At the request of the family, final disposition private.
