Obituary of Harry J. Mayer

Passed away peacefully in his home on Christmas Eve at 94 years. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (nee Parker); devoted father of Joan (Charles) Mauer, Patricia (Anthony) Pizzutillo, James (Sharon) Mayer, Anne (George) Becker, Kathleen (Charles) Albino, William (Virginia) Mayer, Marie (Carl) Friedrich, John (Patricia) Mayer, Harry (Mira) Mayer, Mary Ellen (Chad) Cuneo and  Jaqueline (Vince) Puleo; loving grandfather of 36 and great grandfather of 12; dear brother of Sister Joan Bernadette and Terry Cataleno; also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Harry was a proud Veteran who served in the Armed Forces and Reserves from 1942 to 1953, he flew over 100 missions in the Korean War. Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at the Falco CARUSO & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 Browning RD in Pennsauken.  A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning RD in Pennsauken. At the request of the family, final disposition is private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the donor's charity of choice.
