Obituary of Benjamin Alicea-Huertas

Benjamin Alicea-Huertas, age 56 years of Pennsauken, passed away on January 23, 2018 at home. Beloved husband of Nereyda E. (nee Batista). Devoted father of Benjamin and Carolyn Alicea. Loving grandfather of Jaicilyn Beltran, Benjamin Alicea, Talia Johnson and Angelique Alicea. Cherished son of Josefina Huertas and the late Benjamin Alicea. Dear brother of Jose Alberto, Marilyn, Lillian and Magaly Alicea. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement, Benjamin was employed at the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia for 30 years. He was a proud United States Army Veteran and enjoyed salsa dancing, joking around and building model planes. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday from 9-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Joseph's Pro Cathedral, 2907 Federal Street in Camden. Interment will take place privately.
