Obituary of Lyn E Kelly

Lyn E. Kelly (nee Clarke), of Cherry Hill & Avalon, formerly of Oaklyn, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2018.

 

Beloved wife for 54 years to James C. Kelly; Cherished sister of Joseph (the late Marie) Clarke, George (the late Carole) Clarke, Sheila (Thomas) Clifford, James (Marie) Clarke and Denise (James) Walsh; Dear special friend of Mary & Mary Jane Guy; Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.

 

Lyn was involved in numerous charities and was a true philanthropist. She ran grief workshops with close friends, and she was a proud member of NOVA. When 9/11 happened, she was requested to run a workshop at Liberty State Park to assist victims with getting aid. Because of this, she was awarded a special medal from the Camden County Freeholders honoring her service during that difficult time. She also loved to volunteer for the LPGA tournament in Galloway at the Seaview Country Club, she was given access to the locker rooms by invite only. She also was a longtime member of Riverton Country Club and Stone Harbor Golf Club. Most recently, she successfully completed a course and was certified in Bible Studies in Blackwood. She enjoyed helping others and will be greatly missed by those who were lucky enough to have known her.

 

Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Thursday from 9 to 10 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 Browning RD in Pennsauken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning RD in Pennsauken. Entombment New St Mary's Mausoleum in Bellmawr. Flowers and Mass Card are welcomed.
