Obituary of Nancy L Hawkins

Nancy L. Hawkins (nee Shoemaker), age 68 of Pine Hill, New Jersey, passed away on June 28, 2018 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the beloved daughter of the late Gertrude and Harry Shoemaker Sr.; devoted mother of Nickie and her husband Robert Burkhardt; loving companion of 20 years to Al DiGiuseppe; dear sister of Janet Alessi, Donna Hart and the late Harry Shoemaker Jr. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and her granddogs Trooper and Ruckus. Nancy was a 1967 graduate of the beauty culture department of Camden County Technical School in Pennsauken. She worked as a beautician for 27 years before finishing her working career in retail sales. She enjoyed travelling throughout the United States, as well as Canada and Italy; drinking wine, and spending time with her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Gathering on Friday, July 6 from 10 to 11:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM. Arrangements under the direction of Penn Jersey Cremation Solutions.
