Obituary of Leonard F. Sitkowski

Leonard F. Sitkowski, age 85 years, of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully after a long illness on July 7, 2018.  Beloved husband of Kathleen E. (nee Meehan) for 54 years.  Devoted father of Linda Moles, Maryann Gontowski, Jeanette Gibson (Brian), Mark Sitkowski (Dawn), Kathleen Pile (Mike) and Michael Sitkowski.  Loving grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 6.  Dear brother of Loretta Danielczyk and Theresa Pirrone. 

Prior to retirement, Leonard was employed as a truck driver for Lombard Brothers in Philadelphia for over 30 years and then the Pennsauken Twp for 5 years.  He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the VFW Post 1270 in Pennsauken and a member of the Elks Lodge in Cape Coral, FL.  Leonard loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed his dogs, hanging out at the mountains and will be remembered as a jokester and a hard worker.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Thursday from 9-11AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11AM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053.
