I have looked for you for years now. I learned from Mary of your illness and passing. I am so very sorry for losing touch with you and the knowledge that you were so close all this time just hurts. I will always treasure the friendship we shared, the road trips, you teaching me to drive a stick in that Subaru. The flat tires on the way to Maryland and running down the highway to catch the state trooper. You were one of my best friends for a long time and somehow we just drifted apart. Until we meet again.

Greg,
I am so sorry for your loss. Joan was an amazing woman. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people.
I feel blessed to have had Joan in my life. She taught me to see the good in people. I believe I am a better person for having known her.
Please know that you and Nicole are in my prayers as you struggle to get through this difficult time.

I was one of Joan's college roommates. She was so calm, compassionate, just shined. One of our road trips before she was married was to Maloney's in Margate back in 80's. I was just learning how to drive a 5-speed and everyone in the car told me when to shift. When we lived in Camden when we went to Rutgers, one night we drag raced down the street with the fraternity and we won. We worked at Rutgers Library together part-time. Our last road trip was when she and Greg got married in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine with our other friends. She told me later that from the head table, she liked when she could hear the roar of laughter coming from our table - it was such a celebration. After Nicole was born, she loved being a mother. She was dedicated to Greg & Nicole and loved all the family routines. She would often talk about her family trips. My deepest condolences to her family.
