Mom, it’s been a little over 3 months since you’ve gone home. I miss you more than you know.
I get some comfort knowing you are finally at peace and with our family.
Until we meet again, remember how much I loved you, you were my best friend always!!!

Dear Grandmom:
First and foremost, we're sorry we couldn't be there for you today. It will be something I'll have to live with for the rest of my life. You were always there for me and my family. I'm pretty sure you and Grandpop kept us afloat on more than one occasion. For that I'm eternally grateful.
My earliest memories are of Michael and I being banished to the green metal rocking chairs ( in timeout before being in timeout was a thing ) at the Camden house. I loved her, but she was the strict Grandmom, not that we didn't deserve our punishment! I loved her spaghetti and meat gravy. And the cannolis, the Stella Dora cookies. Over time she became the fun Grandmom. I will always remember the splits she did in heels trying to catch the bridal bouquet at my sisters wedding. I will miss our monthly phone calls. Especially since mom died. She was my connection to my mom, and kept my updated on the family. Goodbye for now, a Rest In Peace.when you get to heaven, say hi to Grandpop, who is probably watching his black and white T.V. Say hi to my mom, who is probably at the shore, reading or doing a crossword puzzle. Say hi to my dad, who is most definitely at Heavenly Dunkin Donuts. Say hi to Michael, who is probably working on his latest masterpiece. Say hi to Robbie, let him know that his kids and grandkids are doing great. Love Eddie and Gail

I wish so much that she would have written a book of all of her little Italian “sayings”. She had a million of them and they were so funny but so true. If you asked her to explain some of them, she would say that they “made more sense in Italian.” Some of those “sayings” I heard from other Italian women as I was growing up, but she knew the coolest ones. I still say if she wrote a book, she would have made a million dollars. God love her. She will be missed!
