Obituary of Pedro Juan Alvelo
Pedro J. Alvelo, Jr, age 61 of Philadelphia, passed away on October 27, 2018 at his family's home in Deptford, New Jersey.
He is the beloved son of Luz and the late Pedro Juan Alvelo; father of Pedro Juan Alvelo III, Lourdes Aviles, Marisela Aviles and the late Hector Aviles; Loving grandfather of Antonio, Ruben, Ariana, Aliyah;, Nadia, Jalyn, Mia, Jada, Natalia, Hector and great grandfather to Valentina, Amelia and Hasim. Dear brother of Ariel, Hiram, Judith and Edwin Alvelo. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles and Phillies. He loved to attend family gatherings. He always followed the world news and read the daily paper.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road, Pennsauken. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, 1620 Cove Road, Pennsauken, New Jersey 08110.
