Obituary of Rose M. Guggino

Rose M. Guggino (nee Labate), age 102 years of Pennsauken for 54 years, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2018. 

 

Beloved wife of the late Anthony P. for 49 years.  Devoted mother of Michael (Sue), Thomas (the late Deanie), Angela Davidson (Frank), Rosemarie Buckley (Paul), Anthony (Adhana) and the late Josephine Madden.  Loving grandmother of Michael Patrick, Kathy, Josephine, Karen, Michael C., David, Alexandra, Christy Rose, Matthew, Cristina Rose and the late Amy and great grandmother of Monica, Nicole, Anthony, Jo Lei, Gigi, Elizabeth Rose, Nicholas, Jamy, Isabella, Amelia Dean, Wyatt, Brielle, Kye, Melania Rose and one on the way.  Dear sister of Josephine Perkins and the late Frances, Angelo, Charles, Carmela and Lawrence.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

 

Rose was president of the Half Century Jets in Pennsauken and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Cecilia’s Church in Pennsauken.  She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed ceramics.  Rose traveled the world with her daughter Josephine and took a trip back to Italy in 2002 with her sons, where she was fortunate enough to spend time with extended family. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday from 9:30 AM at the Parish of Mary, Queen of All Saints Church of St. Cecilia, 4824 Camden Ave, Pennsauken, NJ 08110.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053 OR Mary, Queen of All Saints at the above address.
