Obituary of Matthew R. Harrington

Matthew R. Harrington, age 91 years of Pennsauken, formerly of the Cramer Hill section of Camden, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Marianne (nee Niewinski) for 60 years.  Devoted father of Marianne Carver, Margaret LaRue (the late Jack), Claire Chappelle (John), Matthew (Carol), Paul and Robert (Michele).  Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 10.  Dear brother of Mary Goldschmidt, Joseph, Gerard and the late James, Catherine, Edward and Francis. 

Prior to retirement, Matthew was employed at Cutler Metal in Camden for 37 years.  He also tended bar at Niewinski's Tavern in Cramer Hill for many years.  After retirement, Matthew was employed as a custodian with Cinnaminson Schools for 10 years.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, home maintenance and keeping up with chores around his house, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr.
