Obituary of Caroline M. Van Meter

Caroline M. Van Meter (nee Shinn), age 84 years of Delair, passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas.  Devoted mother of Thomas M. Van Meter (Cheryl) and Caroline Abbatelli (Joseph).  Loving grandmother of Anthony and Kristian.  Dear sister of Elsie Delpopolo (George) and the late Margaret Hillwig.  Cherished sister in law of Marie “Toots” Polino and Robert Van Meter (Teresa).  Also survived by niece and goddaughter, Karen Sayers as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Caroline enjoyed QVC shopping, trips to the casinos and playing cards with the girls.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Sunday from 5-7 PM and Monday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053 OR Woof Love Rescue 14 Conard Ave Collingswood, NJ 08108.
