Obituary of Frank D. Pigliacelli

Frank D. Pigliacelli, age 95 of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Cooper Medical Center in Camden on December 21, 2018.

Predeceased in 2010 by his loving wife of 55 years Louise (nee DePasquale); Devoted father of Nanci and her husband Bob Sinclair, and Susan and her husband Peter Chimento; Loving grandfather of Marissa Lynn Chimento. Also survived by sister-in-law Gloria Torno and his many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

The youngest of 4 children, Frank grew up in South Camden and was a 1943 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He was a member of the football team and also the lead in his school play. Frank had a successful career as a wholesale liquor salesman with R&R Industries that spanned over 50 years. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving during World War II in Guadalcanal, the Philippines and Hawaii, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant.

He was gregarious and enjoyed meeting with his friends and neighbors on a daily basis. He was so proud to be an usher and greeter at St. Stephen's RC Parish in Pennsauken and was one of the founding members of St. Stephen's Parish and School.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday from 9 to 10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.

Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to St. Stephen's Church at the above address.
