To my real brother from another mother I still haven't grasped that you will no longer be a big part of the glue that holds the downtown family together. I will miss you beyond measure. My prayers go out to all who knew Merv. My memories of him come from my childhood back in the projects downtown on Beckett st. He was family..........looking out for the kids playing on the block and around the hood. His heart was gold and stayed true to himself and all around him. It pains me to learn of such a loss. It is with deep sympathy, that we have to share our sorrow together, once again. Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."-John 11:25.
There is a sense of comfort and well being when we know all our family members and friends are doing well and at peace. When we loose one it takes a piece of our comfort and well being away and chips away at our hearts. Thanks to our God and Father that we have the avenue of prayer and can go to Him as much as we need to renew our comfort and peace; and give us the strength we need to move forward.

I remember we walk the Halls of Camden High, it seems like yesterday we March through the High field waving our caps. Not knowing what was in stored for each one of us. How time fly.
