So sorry to hear of Rodney's passing. We would like to express our sincere condolences to the whole family.
We enjoyed our visit and interview 10 years ago for Echoes Of LBI. We loved his enthusiasm for the Barnegat Lightship. I kept in touch with him only yearly but will miss his love for the community and his vision.
Sorry this is so late, I only found out recently

I send my sincere condolences to the family of Rodney Sadler. He will truly be missed for his gentle smile, kind spirit and strong committment to the City of Camden and surrounding area. I was privileged to witness that committment, (twice a month) as he attended each and every board and committee meeting of the Camden Economic Recovery board for over 12 years.
His was a life well lived. May your memories of Rodney comfort you in your time of grief.

To the family of Mr. Rodney,
May you find comfort and peace in the word of God at this most difficult time. I am truly sorry that you loss your dear loved one. Jehovah God’s word tells us at Acts 24:15 that there is going to be a resurrection. May we all look forward to seeing our loved ones again in the future. I am so very sorry.

My lifelong friend, you will be missed. Growing up and spending our adult lives in North Camden, and spending countless hours together at Wiggins Marina. Always an honest and straight forward man.

Some of my families fondest memories boating were with Rodney and Anne at Pyne Poynt Marina
From our first boat a 19’ Thunderbird to the 39’ Owens and finally our 32’ Carver. We spent a lot of time in the evenings solving the worlds problems over a few beers with Rodney and Meade. Our kids still talk about all the fun times on the Delaware and the marina
Never figured out whether I should thank or curse Rodney for guiding me in a career in the marine industry as a partner in TowBoatUS Philadelphia
Rodney you certainly made your mark on a small patch of the world and made it a better place

Many many years ago, over 30 I’d say, I was looking around at different boat yards and called and spoke to Rodney for the first time. We were inquiring about marine plywood and he took it upon himself to go out if his way for strangers and assisted my husband Austin in getting the marine plywood he needed. We met and it wasn’t long after that we moved our boat to Pyne Poynt Marina and began a friendship with this magnanimous man, his beautiful wife and family. We share not only many fond memories but also a grand daughter for our daughter Maile and his son Quinn. We thank him for having been in our lives. He will surely be missed.
