Ted Jackson-a great friend and man. I boxed and worked out with you every Sunday for 27 years-including last Sunday. You never gave up; you never gave in; you NEVER touched the canvas. We worked through great times and some not-as-great times, but we always came out winning and smiling. I’m proud to have you as one of my boxers. You were 65 years older than most of my boxers, but I’ll take your corner any time.
God’s got you now, my dear friend. I pray and pray and pray that I’ll see you again some day. And when I do, we’ll pick up like we never let off. I miss you Ted.
