Obituary of Santiago Horta

Santiago Horta, age 71 of Pennsauken, formerly of Camden, passed away on April 24, 2019.

Beloved husband of Tracey (nee Steindel). Devoted father of Yolanda Horta, Elizabeth Horta, Santamaria (Carl) Priddy, Santiago Horta Jr., Miguel (Debbie) Horta, Alejandro Horta, Joshua Horta, and Gabriel Horta. Loving grandfather and great grandfather of many. Dear brother of Angel Moreno, Felix Horta, Jose Luis Horta, Abesain Horta, Rafaela Rodriguez, Ilia Stanton, David Horta, Roberto and the late Leticia Moreno, Monserate Horta, Ana Horta, Nino Horta, and Esther Horta. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and god children.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Horta was employed with the City of Camden as a sidewalk inspector. Mr. Horta enjoyed watching horse racing and the Philadelphia Eagles. He will be remembered as a man who would do anything for anybody.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday from 10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at Noon. Entombment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family for the children’s future educational needs.
