Obituary of Juanita Rivera

Juanita Rivera, age 84 of Camden, passed away on May 15, 2019 at Arista Care in Cherry Hill. She was born on May 22, 1934 in Cidra, Puerto Rico to the late Luis and Francisca Rivera.

She is the devoted mother of Jose A. Cruz (Briggitte), Wanda M. Cruz (Fabian Nieves), Maria D. Burgos (Bobby) and the late Jose N. Cruz; Loving grandmother of Daniele, Justin, Jarrett, Tylar, Carlos, Joel, Wanda, Jose, Jazzman, Joshua, Gina and great grandmother of 14.

Juanita was a senior companion with Our Lady of Lourdes for 18 years, and was known by many people as "The Rosary Lady". She enjoyed music, crafting dried flower arrangements and jewelry, and praying the rosary.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday from 10 AM at St. Joseph Pro Cathedral, 2907 Federal Street in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
