Obituary of Jose Enrique Torres

On June 7, 2019 , Jose E. Torres Jr, loving son, brother, father, and military veteran passed away suddenly at the age 52. 

Jose was born on June 4th 1967 in Camden, New Jersey to Jose and Maria Torres, later residing in Homestead Florida for the past 29 years. He received his licensure as a well skilled OR Surgical Technician from the United States Air Force in which he actively and honorably served for over two decades. Jose had a passion for playing baseball, riding motorcycles, keeping active, and spending time with the abundance of family and friends in both Florida and New Jersey. He will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, charming personality and a sense of humor that would brighten any dark day. His remarkable work ethic, integrity and dedication made him an exemplary role model and employee. He was known for his strict and stern personality that elevated those around him to perform beyond their best abilities. Jose was a true leader, what those around him strived to be, and some who made everyoneʼs life better. 

Jose was the beloved son of Maria S. Torres and Jose E. Torres. Dear brother of Orlando Torres, Javier R. Torres and Edgardo Torres. He is survived by daughter Faith E Kirkland, niece Christina N. Torres and nephews Orlando Torres Jr. and Daniel Torres, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Most importantly he is survived by his best companion and dog, Max who he loved dearly. Jose will be forever loved and missed. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
