I feel so privileged to have been able to call John.... my Uncle! He was a lifetime friend of my father, doing everything from going to Drexel together to serving in WWII.
To Johnny, Stevie, Andy and Marianne and your families, my heart breaks for you and the passing of your father. I cherished the visit I had with him this past Jan.
We collectively had what I think is a lifetime of great memories which at its center was brought together by the incredible bond between our fathers....and then their wives...our mothers.
I am so sorry that I will be out of the country and not able to attend the services of your father, my uncle.
