Obituary of Camilo M. Reyes, Sr.
Camilo M. "Com" Reyes, Sr., age 62 years of Pennsauken, formerly of Camden passed away suddenly on August 23, 2019. Beloved husband of Arlene Reyes (nee Andujar). Devoted father of Vanessa Reyes, Jessica Reyes, Evis Ramos and Camilo Jr. Loving grandfather of Vanessa Colon, Janelle Colon, Jorge Rosa Perez, Jazlene Colon, Gisele Ramos and Ethan Ramos. Dear brother of Robert A. Reyes, Carla Reyes, Gerald "Jerry" Salgado and the late Lydia E. Reyes. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, lifelong friends Sam and John Jackson and his faithful four legged companions Laverne, Budie and the late Taz.
Prior to retirement, Camilo was employed with the Camden Board of Education for 27 years. He was also a United States Army Veteran. Camilo enjoyed cars, technology and doing yard work. He was a handyman, a comedian and was a selfless man who was always willing to help others in the community. Most of all, Camilo was a great husband, father and grandfather and loved to spend time with his dogs.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 6-8 PM and Friday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
