Obituary of Astor V. Bodden
Astor "Vince" Bodden, age 33 years of Deptford, formerly of Camden, passed away on September 23, 2019. Beloved husband of Mattie (nee Marcellus). Devoted father of Jonathan. Loving son of Caldwell and Justina (nee Davila) Bodden. Dear brother of Charles "Lenny", Juan "Eddie" (Yolanda), Marlena Kearse (Dewaun), Corinna "Lupe" Thomas and Andres "Jaime" (Sonia). Cherished son in law of Veuillot and Rose Marcellus. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Vince was employed at Rutgers University in Camden since 2014 as a web developer. He was an active member of the Pennsauken Gospel Hall and he lived to serve God and his family. Vince was always there to help his family and friends, putting others above himself. He was well loved by so many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 9 AM at the Pennsauken Gospel Hall, 6530 Carolina Ave, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to go towards a care fund for his son Jonathan.
