Sending lots of love to Elaine's family. I will always admire Elaine for her hard work and determination. She was a devoted family member and brought people together in ways that I'm sure will be missed by many. So many talents and gifts - my favorite was her cooking (flan & magical holiday cakes).

I love this picture that Marc made his profile pic on FB. This is how I remember Elaine. It was what she looked like the last time that I saw her in person because I moved to Texas almost 4 decades ago. Elaine and I reconnected through Facebook some years ago. She had such a positive attitude amidst everything that she was going through with all of the surgeries. She was surely a force to be reckoned with. I guess that's why she was able to live as long as she did with all the complications that she went through. She never really felt sorry for herself. She loved God, she loved (and rightfully bragged) on her family, and she loved her friends. Elaine, you are a bright light that we will surely miss. Such grace under pressure. Until we see each other in Heaven my friend.....

Dear Moore, Duffy and Nance Families, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We're so very sorry for your loss of such a wonderful and caring mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. We loved Elaine and will miss her can-do spirit. What I remember most is that she always wanted to help and would often take care of others before herself. Also, she never backed down to any of us boys and she always held her ground, which (knowing Elaine) I guarantee lasted up to the end of her time here on earth with us. Peace to all of you and please know that Elaine was very special to us. We will miss her! Bruce Nance Family
