Thinking of you with heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Joe. When we moved into Wenonah almost 30 years ago, little did we know how enriched our lives would become by being neighbors of the DiMedio family. Anja and Joe welcomed us into their home and their lives. Joe always had a smile and was as genuine as could be. He truly loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. Even once after an "incident" on the trampoline, bringing home duct tape to repair it! Anja sure set the mark for raising those 4 boys. We will continue to keep you close in our thoughts.
Extending our deepest sympathies,
Cheryl and Jack Morency

The DiMedio’s have been my second family since I was 5 years old when Adam showed up on my family’s porch with skittles and refused to leave for 33 years. Obviously, Mr. D. was my favorite of the clan (and since you asked, I’d have to go with Nicky as the least favorite - right behind Ruby and Pepper) and I consider myself lucky to have so many good memories to hold on to. 115 N. Stockton Avenue was not just the water bed capital of Wenonah in the ’90s, it was also where I honed my award winning beer pong skills, learned to jump off a water slide instead of slide down it, and discovered the unintended convenience of a basement sump pump. For all of that and more, I’ll always be grateful for Mr. D’s easy going ways, and feel blessed that the family has always allowed me to be a part of their world. The man was a gem, and the family is my family. Love you all! ~ Chris Tully

Joey, you will never be forgotten and will be missed by all who knew and loved you. My heart breaks for your family because you were such an important part of their every day lives. You loved life and loved your family and that is the greatest tribute to all who had the pleasure of knowing you and being in your life. RIP my dear friend and carry on the Christmas gatherings with all the guys who will be there to greet you and welcome you to heaven, until we meet again.

Joe was one of the most welcoming humans I have ever met. Being in his presence was so easy and comforting. I am lucky to have met such a kind soul. My thoughts and prayers go to Anja and the whole family. Sitting on the porch and those wildwood summer days were some of my fondest memories. Rest well Joe.

I will dearly miss Uncle Joe. He was a straight shooter, told it like it was. I always enjoyed seeing him, talking with him. He always had a smile and I am fortunate enough to say we had many laughs together. R.I.P Uncle Joe, you will always be remembered.

As i am thinking about what to write my heart is racing thinking that he is really gone. Uncle Joe was kind hearted family man who loved to laugh. He loved his family and would do anything for them. Being his youngest sisters child i had the pleasure to spend a lot of time with uncle joe while i was growing up. At a young age i remember him throwing me up in the air and catching me or a picture of me sitting on the kitchen table eating ice cream with him right out of the container. My deepest condolences go out to Aunt Anja and the boys. Uncle Joe was one of a kind.
