Obituary of Horace A. Louby

Horace A. Louby, age 96 years of Cherry Hill, passed away on April 20, 2020. He was a devoted husband to Lena (nee Miraglia) for more than 50 years and was a devoted "grandfather" to Emily Miraglia, Molly Miraglia and Matthew Miraglia. Jim was predeceased by his wife Lena, his parents Ambrose and Lillie, his sister Dorothy and brothers Robert and Sam. Jim is survived by his nephews, nieces, great nieces great nephews, friends and neighbors who will remember him for the kind, gentle, unassuming, truly good man that he was. Horace Louby, known as Jim to his family and friends, was a long time resident of Cherry Hill, NJ. He was a proud veteran of WWII where he served with the 231st armored field artillery battalion as a surveyor and expert sharp shooter. Jim worked as a machinist for more than 40 years for the Campbell Soup company in Camden NJ. Services for Horace are being held privately due do the current public health crisis caused by COVID19.
