Obituary of Vilma I. Rodriguez

Vilma I. Rodriguez, age 64 of Camden, passed away at Cooper Medical Center on August 26, 2020. She is the beloved wife of Geraldo Zayas; devoted mother of Benjamin Cortez, Alexander Cortez (Kathy), Angel Rodriguez and the late Edwin Cortez Jr. (Christina); loving grandmother of Edwin J., Optamara, Jewelianna, Alex, Jovanny, Joel, Gabriel, Christian, Benjamin, Destiny, Aiden, Kathy, Benjamin, Deyanira, Yamil, Yanuel, Victoria, Benjamin, Angel Jr., James and the late Ashley; cherished great grandmother of Cory; dear sister of Junior, Hector, Heidi, Nancy, Elsie Reyes, Manny, Nieda, Mari and Robert Rodriguez. Vilma loved cooking, listening to music and dancing, caring for plants and most of all her children and grandchildren. She was extremely kind-hearted, loving and caring, and was willing to do anything to help a family member in need. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. Due to Covid capacity restrictions, we ask that you pay your respects in a timely manner and limit your stay so that others may pay their respects. Face masks are required inside the building.
